Really delicious and very fresh Ethiopian cuisine. We ordered the vegetarian (actually vegan too!) plate and were super impressed with every dish. The injera is made from pure Teff flour and is gluten-free. Nutritious food that leaves you filling satisfied but without that heavy feeling. Canât wait to come back to enjoy more! Thanks for the warm and friendly service too.
Been here twice and will go again! Amazing food, very friendly owners. Sadly not so busy like the restaurants in more popular area, but this also has its charm.

Cameron Caja: The owner of Meskerem is a restaurateur in the capital city of Ethiopia and has brought his ingredients, expertise, and skilled kitchen staff from home. Everything is made from scratch and the flavor is unmatched by anything else in Switzerland. Iâve visited Ethiopian restaurants in 8 countries and I can honestly say this is one of the best Iâve ever had. When you visit, make sure to try the house made honey wine called âTejâ. Order anything, itâs a foolproof menu. This is a meal you wonât quickly forget.Vegetarian options: The traditional cuisine of Ethiopia is heavy on vegetarian dishes and every combination plate comes with multiple veggies. Bring your vegan/vegetarian friends, this is one place where everyone gets what they want.

I came in here at around 1 pm and the restaurant was empty - I could really enjoy my meal alone but I was surprised. The food is amazing and filling, the presentation is fun and a fully sensory experience. The staff was very friendly and I got my food really fast. I will definitely tell other people about this place :))
